Trade deficits in EBRD regions expanding as imports from China continue to surge

In the EBRD regions, many economies find themselves in a tight spot with China, as trade deficits are on the rise. Between 2024 and 2025, nearly three-quarters of these countries are seeing their balances take a turn for the worse, thanks to a surge in imports.
